An invitation to perform at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner is one of the highest honors a comedian can receive. If you’re deemed good enough to roast the entire government in front of the president and hundreds of others who aren’t used to getting made fun of to their faces, you’re probably doing alright in the comedy game. Jon Stewart, Norm MacDonald, Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, Conan O’Brien and more have all delivered memorable skewerings in recent years, and for the 2014 edition the White House called on Community and The Soup’s Joel McHale. The dinner went down over the weekend. Check out McHale’s entire 23-minute routine above.
