Hamilton Creator Lin-Manuel Miranda to Host SNL in October
Image via Twitter (@twentyonepilots) Comedy News Lin Manuel MirandaLin-Manuel Miranda is non-stop. The Hamilton star and creator will host Saturday Night Live on Oct. 8. This will be the first time Miranda has ever hosted the show.
Miranda recently wrapped his role as Alexander Hamilton in the hit Broadway musical, and also composed the music for Disney’s Moana, which is set to hit theaters in November. Miranda will be joined by musical guest Twenty-One Pilots, who will also be making their SNL debut.
SNL saw some cast shake-ups over the summer, and its return is eagerly anticipated. The premiere will be this Saturday, Oct. 1, hosted by Margot Robbie with musical guest The Weeknd. As for what we can expect from Miranda’s turn as host, it will likely come with a little bit of rap, and maybe a corset or two.
