The National Comedy Center has announced its headlining performers for the 28th annual Lucille Ball Comedy Festival.
Two of stand-up comedy’s foremost contemporary voices John Mulaney and Sebastian Maniscalco, will be performing on Friday, Aug. 9, and Saturday, Aug. 10, respectively, in Ball’s hometown of Jamestown, N.Y.
The four-day comedy festival in honor of Ball’s legacy will host more than five comedy showcases, late-night performances and legacy events to honor the late comedy giant.
Last year’s event marked the grand opening of the festival’s new host building, the National Comedy Center, which stands as the nation’s first comedic arts museum.
The celebration runs Aug. 7-11 at Jamestown’s Northwest Arena. Tickets go on sale Feb. 22 through the Comedy Center’s website.
