Last year Woody Allen announced he was writing and starring in a still untitled series for Amazon. Few details have been revealed, but today Deadline confirmed the vehicle will star Miley Cyrus of all people, as well as Elaine May.
The series, which is set in the 1960s, will feature six half-hour episodes. Production is set to begin in March. One wonders if Allen is still regretting the decision, as he previously told Deadline that he “regretted every second” since he’d said okay to the project. Amazon must be thrilled with that.
