I confess to occasionally watching the “Know Your Rights” YouTube videos, where citizens with cameras show us exactly which police or state security measures are technically unlawful, and how disobedience can help you defy those measures. They’re compelling viewing, and though I’ve never put anything into practice, I still enjoy watching these confrontations, which inevitably end with the cop deciding there are better uses for his or her time, and waving the person through.
Netflix’s hotly anticipated sketch show W/ Bob & David, reuniting the stars of the classic Mr. Show, debuts Nov. 13. Today, we have a sneak preview with a sketch satirizing the “Know Your Rights” videos. It’s very funny, and you can watch it above.
