First Images from Rick and Morty Season Four Revealed

Beloved cartoon Rick and Morty is finally returning after a long hiatus for a fourth season, and on Tuesday afternoon, Adult Swim shared the first two images from the show’s forthcoming new episodes.

One of them is weirdly … happy? A different tone from the series’ past seasons, for sure.

Oh, this one is is a little more Rick and Morty-like.

The show’s diehard fans have been waiting literal years for it to come back, and this small taste of what’s to come will hopefully hold them over for a bit longer (it’s much less nonsensical than the season’s last teaser).

Season Four will be the first new adventures of Rick and Morty since Adult Swim commissioned series creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland to develop 70 new episodes of the show last May.

Season Four of Rick and Morty, which is reportedly 10 episodes long, will air this November on Adult Swim, featuring guest appearances from the likes of Paul Giamatti, Sam Neil, Taika Waititi and Kathleen Turner, per TheWrap.

More will be revealed at Adult Swim’s Comic-Con panel this Friday.
