Sarah Silverman’s Got a Political Comedy Show Coming to Hulu

Sarah Silverman’s not exactly shy about pushing buttons, sticking her face in the cultural buzzsaw and just generally pissing people off, so it should come as no surprise that Silverman’s now committing to a political comedy show on Hulu.

I Love You, America (working title) will debut with a 10-episode run on Hulu and feature Silverman conversing with people who aren’t quite on the same wavelength about the current political climate. The weekly half-hour show is being produced by Adam McKay and Will Ferrell for Funny or Die, and will likely debut sometime in 2017, but no premiere date has been announced yet.

Though it’s roughly pegged as a political comedy show, I Love You, America is apparently much more about forging connections than bickering about what should be done about the Affordable Care Act. The show’s logline notes that it’s “setting out to expose the fact that we are all the same.”
