Dave Chappelle has been making the rounds again after spending years avoiding the limelight, and now he’s doing his biggest gig since the end of Chappelle’s Show.
According to Deadline, Chappelle will host Saturday Night Live on Nov. 12. It will be the show’s first episode after the presidential election on Nov. 8, so it was already bound to be an important outing, but Chappelle’s involvement takes it to another level.
But Chappelle isn’t the only reason to get excited. The legendary hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest will be the episode’s musical guests, performing one day after their newest and last album, titled We got it from Here… Thank You 4 Your service, hits shelves. The group will presumably be performing at least one new track, though there are no official details.
Mark your calendars, people; the Nov. 12 episode of SNL is not one to miss.
