SNL Finds More Stars to Play the Democratic Candidates for President

At least we didn’t have to deal with Alec Baldwin’s Trump impression again.

Saturday Night Live’s cold open last night was yet another political sketch with celebrities making surprise walk-ons as some of the Democratic candidates for president. Lin-Manuel Miranda showed up as Julián Castro, and Woody Harrelson returned to do Joe Biden again after his hosting gig a couple of weeks ago. Fortunately neither performance was the main focus of the sketch, which actually had a few legitimately funny moments. They never should’ve tried to one-up Elizabeth Warren’s joke from the real event, though, as you can’t improve on perfection.
