FXX Will Air All 600 Episodes of The Simpsons in 13-Day Marathon

Comedy News The Simpsons

There are 600 episodes of The Simpsons, and now you can watch them all back-to-back-to-back-to … you get it. FXX is airing all 600 episodes of the show in a row—that’s a lot of “back-to”s. The marathon will take 13 days, beginning at noon EST on Nov. 24 and lasting through Tuesday, Dec. 6. In case you weren’t aware, Nov. 24 is Thanksgiving Day.

The Simpsons will air its 600th episode, “Treehouse of Horror XXVII,” on Oct. 19. The episode will air on Fox, the show’s mother network. FXX describes this marathon as the longest in television history, breaking the previous record which was also held by The Simpsons, when FXX ran 552 episodes over 12 days back in 2014.

Of course, it will require an incredible level of stamina to watch all 600 episodes, and it’s not really necessary. FXX airs old Simpsons episodes regularly, and they can also be accessed on FXNow. The Simpsons will return for its 28th season on Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. The first episode will feature Amy Schumer as Mr. Burns’ mother.
