Watch Mindy Kaling’s Sarcastic, Hilarious Harvard Law School Speech

Yesterday, Harvard held its Class Day ceremony recognizing the achievements of graduating law students and invited Mindy Kaling to do, well, basically the opposite of that. Speaking at Wednesday’s event, the Mindy Project star called the students, variously, “nerds,” “evil” and “always number two” to Yale grads in a 16-minute comedic tour-de-force. “Most of you will go on to the noblest of pursuits,” said Kaling, “like helping a cable company acquire a telecom company.”

The Cambridge native didn’t just save her tongue-in-cheek barbs for the law school, however. She also landed jabs at Harvard’s divinity school (“a bunch of weird virgins”), its school of design (“European burnouts”) and even her alma mater Dartmouth, which Kaling called “a forest and a row of frat houses that smell like urine.” Check it out above, and learn about Kaling’s own graduate program, the dueling-based “The Harvard School of Vengeance.”
