Box Brown Will Talk His New Book Tetris with Paste‘s Garrett Martin in Decatur This Friday

Cartoonist Box Brown’s latest book, Tetris, is out today through First Second Books, and if you haven’t read it yet, walk away from your phone or computer right now, go pick up a copy, read it cover to cover, and then rejoin us. We’ll wait.

Okay. Brown’s currently traveling the country on a Tetris book tour, hitting fine book shops throughout America, signing copies for his fans, and having conversations with local artists and writers from each town. Here in Atlanta, Paste’s hometown, Brown will be talking with our own games, comedy and wrestling editor, Garrett Martin. It’s happening at the Eagle Eye Book Shop in Decatur this Friday, October 14. Brown will do a reading from Tetris, then they’ll have a short chat about the new book and comics and videogames (Garrett promises to keep the wrestling talk to an absolute minimum), take a few questions from the audience, and then Brown will sign copies and greet his fans. It all starts at 7 PM on Friday.

If you aren’t in Atlanta, Brown’s tour still has dates in Philadelphia, Boston, California and more, with appearances from awesome cartoonists like Liz Prince, Ed Luce and MariNaomi.
