Exclusive Preview: John Arcudi & Toni Fejzula’s Dead Inside #2 Cuts Deeper

Writer John Arcudi and artist Toni Fejzula loaded up on blood and mystery last month for the debut of Dead Inside, their Dark Horse mini-series about a near-unsolvable murder committed within a county jail. Detective Linda Caruso, an officer of the Jail Crimes Division for the Sheriff’s Office in Mariposa County, is tasked with uncovering the truth, but her search for answers forces her to confront more than she bargained for. In an advance review of the first issue, Tobias Carroll said that “Arcudi and Fejzula have impressively established a mysterious crime, a tangible world and the ominous feeling that background cogs and intentions are spinning unseen.” The second issue of the mini-series hits stands January 25th, and you can check out an exclusive—and gory—preview below.
