Crazy Mountain is a relatively young brewery (opening in 2010), but they’ve managed to wrestle a strong presence in Colorado’s robust craft beer scene in just a few short years, becoming Vail Valley’s first production brewery, taking over Breckenridge Brewery’s former space, and opening a tap room in Denver. They also have some incredibly imaginative, if not a little bit unsettling, beer labels. Created by Boulder-based ad firm Moxie Sozo, which also designs Left Hand Brewing’s labels, the artwork is meant to be reminiscent of Where the Wild Things Are. We say they nailed it. Here are some of our favorite labels from Crazy Mountain.

Cara De Luna is one of their new beers in 16-ounce cans.

Magnus is part bison, part grizzly, part moose with man arms.

They even have cutouts in some bottle shops so you can see what you'd look like as a man/beast.

Jeremiah: A mountain goat/elk/pika with a beer belly and man-boobs. Raise your hand if this looks like your brother in law.

The brewery rebranded most of their cans over the course of the last year.

Lawyers, Guns and Money is definitely in my top 10 beer names right now. Naturally, the character's name is Zevon.

That's one wise looking owl. Creepy, but wise.

Higgins is part black bear, part raccoon and part horse. I'm trying to imagine the threesome that resulted in that baby. My brain hurts.

The Creedence Pilsner, with Finley, your friendly wolf/bighorn sheep/rabbit. Seriously, doesn't he look friendly?
