The weather is getting warmer, and Memorial Day is almost here, which means it’s time for summer beers.
While you can certainly drink stouts in the summer (I definitely will), warmer weather tends to lend itself to drinks that are a little fruitier, a little lighter, and a little lower in ABV than what you might sip on during colder months.
Not sure what brew to pack in your picnic basket this weekend? Here are a few suggestions.

I've written a few times about my love for Anderson Valley Briny Melon Gose. The lightly-salted beer is the perfect thing for a hot summer day, and is low enough in alcohol that you can have a few in the afternoon and make it to evening festivities as well.

10 Barrel's Raspberry Crush is a sour that's literally crushable. The Berliner Weisse clocks in at 6.5%, making it a big stronger than other brews on this list. The raspberry flavor; however, makes it the perfect drink for a sunny day on the beach.
