There is no better way to celebrate a new role, a reunion, or a day that ends in “Y” than by tipping back a Guinness or three. Or at least that’s the law by which Jason Momoa lives his life.
The hunky Hawaiian actor, famous for portraying ruthless badass Khal Drogo in HBO’s Game of Thrones, guzzled so many celebratory Guinnesses over time that the brewery finally made him his own beer: The Mano, the venerable, Dublin-based brewers’ first sour.
Momoa, as prolific an Instagram user as he is a Guinness drinker, unveiled the brew in a ‘Gram post, writing in its caption, “HOLY SHIT. @guinnessus the open gate brewery In Dublin. Just brewed the first ever. MOMOA brew. The Mano. The first sour. From @Guinness. Come down and try. I’m officially blown away.” The awestruck actor captioned another post, “I’m in awe. a sour my favourite. Made by my favourite @guinnessus.”
Momoa, after making a cameo in Batman v. Superman, will bring Aquaman to the big screen in both Zack Snyder’s Justice League and James Wan’s Aquaman stand-alone, in 2017 and 2018, respectively. Here’s hoping both flicks are worth raising a glass to.
