5 Delicious Cocktails For National Kahlua Day

Around the Holidays in 2015, I happened upon a bottle of Peppermint Kahlua at my local liquor store. It quickly became my go-to that month and found its way in coffee and hot chocolate all holiday season. While Kahlua is arguably best known for being used as an adjunct to give coffee an extra kick, the spirit can actually be used in a number of different cocktails.

February 27th is National Kahlua Day in the United States, a day to commemorate the delicious coffee and rum-based spirit. To celebrate, the folks at Kahlua rounded up a few great cocktails you can make with the spirit. A few of these, like the White Russian, are likely things you’ve heard of before. Others, like the Cafe Volcano, are new recipes that are absolutely worth a try.

If you do mix up a celebratory cocktail, be sure to share your creations on social media with the hashtag #NationalKahluaDay and network with other like-minded drinkers.
