Napa Valley’s Wine Train Turns Into a ‘Hop Train’ This Summer

This summer, Napa Valley’s Hop Train will once again be transforming into a “hop train” for enthusiastic beer lovers.

The 2-hour train rides start June 3rd. Guests will hop aboard the train at 6pm and ride to Rutherford and back, taking in the sights of Napa Valley along the way. On board guests will receive two free pints of beer to enjoy, and additional pints as well as spirits and wine will be available for purchase.

The beer on board will be courtesy of Napa’s Palisades Beer Company. The brewery is located at the corner of First and Main Street in downtown Napa and has 30 brews on draft. Palisades Beer Co’s three signature beers will be served on board the train.

1849 Gold Rush Red
American style with a smooth mouthfeel that is slightly dry with a touch of caramel, smoke, and honey. ABV 5.7% IBU 24. Made with Chinook Hops.

Loco IPA
A new brew, a citrus-filled tropical IPA with rich mouthfeel that finishes with a touch of bitterness. ABV 7.5% IBU 60. Made with Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo + Centennial Hops.

Little Loco Session IPA (formerly 24/7 IPA)
Light and crisp, slightly bitter with citrus flavor and a hint of pine on the finish. ABV 5.3% IBU 52. Made with Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo + Centennial Hops.
