Cute and Conceptual Bites for St. Patrick's Day

Mid-March arrives, and the US goes green. No, not green in the environmental sense (that should be a year-round habit), but in the literal, colorful sense. St. Patrick’s Day Green arrives, and forces its complementary color, Valentine’s Day Red, to step aside. On St. Patrick’s Day, it is decreed that all must wear green or don shamrocks, or else be pinched. Humans who find a leprechaun are granted three wishes and some might try to steal his pot of gold. Those unlucky ones who can’t find a leprechaun can find solace in food.

All over the blogosphere, talented cooks have come up with adorable bites that take the holiday to a new level. Feast on nibbles shaped like leprechauns, pots of gold, shamrocks, shamrocks, and, oh, did we mention, shamrocks?
