Anthem‘s Twitter Account Is Teasing Something

Anthem, Bioware’s highly anticipated and ambitious third-person, shared-world shooter, has had little light shed on it ever since its reveal at last year’s E3. But, as of today, Wednesday, Anthem’s Twitter account seems to be teasing something.

Anthem’s Twitter account hasn’t tweeted in almost a year—until today, that is. With a complex tweet rife with symbols and the word “decoding,” the internet has been stirred up in anticipation of some kind of reveal. Maybe they are just rousing anticipation for the game’s likely showing at E3, presumably at EA’s press conference. Or maybe something, most likely a trailer, will be revealed before E3.

As of now, all we know for sure is that something is “decoding.” This is likely in reference to the game’s mech suit booting up because most mech suits have heads-up displays, and the cryptic tweet has a very heads-up display/user interface feel to it. More will be known and presumably revealed in the coming days and weeks.

Until then, check out the breathtaking Anthem reveal trailer from last year’s E3.
