Get Lost in Haunted Woods in New Trailer for Forthcoming Blair Witch Game

A new trailer for the forthcoming Blair Witch videogame emerged from the cursed woods on Monday morning, giving us our first fleeting glimpse of the first-person horror gameplay that’ll be hitting screens at the end of August.
As Ellis, you’ll be exploring the forest, chatting with your girlfriend Jess on a Nokia phone, and commanding your dog Bullet to dig up clues and go searching the vicinity. There’s also an extremely haunted house, creatures lurking in the distance and some distressing video tapes that you can watch on your camcorder, but come on … there’s a dog! Nothing that bad could happen, right?
Yeah, you’re probably right. Something bad is definitely gonna happen with the dog. We’ll find out for sure when Blair Witch, which is developed by Bloober Team and Lionsgate Games, launches on Xbox One and PC on Aug. 30. Check out the new trailer below.
