Two New Free Games Announced for Epic Games Store

Epic has been on a roll with their free game options as of late—so far, they’ve offered amazing titles like Transistor, Moonlighter, Alan Wake and For Honor, among others. Currently Fez is free on the online storefront until Aug. 29. EGS has finally announced the next two freebies coming to the shop, though, and boy, are they good ones.

As soon as Fez’s free run is over, indie darlings Celeste and Inside will take its place, per GameSpot. Both games were heavily involved in “game of the year” discourse after their respective releases. Seriously, you cannot miss these games—just take a look at how much we loved Celeste in our review.

It’s a great time to get into either game—Celeste has an epic, 100-level DLC coming out soon for which you can surely catch up in time, and Danish developer Playdead seems to be working on a follow-up to their critically acclaimed games Limbo and, of course, Inside.

You can grab Celeste and Inside next week for free on the Epic Games Store, and pick up Fez free of charge until Aug. 29 at the same place.
