Bethesda and HYPEBEAST Are Auctioning off Fallout 76 Power Helmets for Charity

Fallout fans, get your auction paddles ready. Bethesda announced Wednesday that, in anticipation of the forthcoming Fallout 76, the studio is teaming up with HYPEBEAST’s creative agency HYPEMAKER to auction off customized power armor helmets for charity. All proceeds from this #HelmetsforHabitat initiative will go directly to Habitat for Humanity.

HYPEBEAST has lined up dozens of artists from the U.S., France, Germany, Poland, Australia, the U.K. and more to design the helmets in their own styles. New York residents can get a close-up look: A select few helmets will be on showcase at the flagship Microsoft Store on Fifth Avenue from Oct. 25 through Nov. 14.

Bethesda has worked with Habitat in the past, and is committed to donating at least $100,000 to its purpose of building homes for those in need across all 50 states, as well as in over 70 countries.

Fallout 76 is set to be an MMO take on the popular series. It looks just as off-the-wall and ridiculous as its predecessors, even, ironically, giving players the ability to destroy other players’ bases with nuclear weapons. Xbox players can check out the beta now, while PS4 and PC fans can test it out on Oct. 30. The full game is just under a month away, hitting all systems across the globe on Nov. 14.
