Ubisoft Releases Far Cry 5 Teaser; Full Reveal Coming This Week

Ubisoft might be playing coy with the next iteration of Far Cry, but it won’t be for long. A new teaser trailer has been released, and a Far Cry 5 worldwide reveal is expected this Friday, May 26.
Few details about Far Cry 5 have been confirmed, but we do know the title will be set in fictional Hope County, Montana. From the trailer above, it seems like the ideal, picturesque Northwestern America dream, but there’s a little more to it than that.
That’s a relaxing stream, right? Wrong—there’s a body in there. What about that church choir singing “Amazing Grace”? There can’t possibly be a dark side to that. Check that belfry. Picturesque mountains? Think again, and listen for that blood-curdling scream.
Ubisoft has yet to announce a time for the reveal stream, but more details should appear on its channels soon. Until then, we know that Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed are expected at this year’s E3 Expo, and are planned to launch by 2018.
