Telltale Games has shared a video on their social media accounts that could point to a new project involving the acclaimed, Emmy-nominated TV series Mr. Robot. This would not be a departure for the studio, as they have adapted a plethora of properties into adventure games over the past few years, including The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Borderlands and most recently, Batman.
The video they shared is an advertisement for a new messaging app from E Corp, which looks entirely real, until one recalls that E Corp is an evil corporation from Mr. Robot. Why would Telltale’s social media accounts share this specific video of a fake messaging app? It could be a hint of their next game series. The video says “Available this August,” so perhaps an announcement will come by the end of the month. You can watch the video below.
