After years in development, Night in the Woods will finally be coming home. It’s scheduled to arrive for the Playstation 4, PC, Mac and Linux on January 10, 2017.
Announced with a Kickstarter in 2013, the character-driven adventure game from Alec Holowka, Bethany Hockenberry and Scott Benson has been a highlight of every game show it’s been exhibited at since, which you might’ve noticed if you’ve been reading Paste for a while. Based on what we’ve played, within its adorable cartoon exterior lies a story about realistic and relatable people wrestling with the ever-changing nature of life. Oh, there’s also maybe some kind of spooky biz happening out in the woods.
