Watch: Overwatch Anniversary Event Begins Today

The fated day has come: Overwatch’s anniversary begins today. Blizzard’s keeping things hot with over 100 new items to collect.
This time around, 25 new sprays, 24 new voice lines, 11 legendary skins, three new maps, golden player icons and emotes for every character are up for grabs. To make things even sweeter, players who log in between today and the end of the event on June 12 will receive one free anniversary loot box. The title’s Game of the Year edition also launches today.
The Anniversary event doesn’t seem to include any new game modes, but does introduce three new maps to play on: Necropolis, Black Forest and Castillo. There are also new skins for Solider 76, Pharah, Symmetra and more. Our personal favorite is Cruiser D.Va. Also, Mei’s new emote is the Hare Hare Yukai dance. We’re in love.
