Volition, the studio behind all four Saints Row games, announced a brand new game titled Agents of Mayhem, as IGN first reported. Published by Deep Silver, Agents of Mayhem seems to draw on the recent trend of hero-based FPS titles, a la Borderlands and Overwatch.
Agents of Mayhem will be a “single-player open-world action game,” with more details to come at E3. The cinematic trailer shows off an art style that is more cartoonish than modern military shooters, and the characters seem rather charming (“Ahoy motherfuckers!” one shouts).
Agents of Mayhem is due out in 2017. Check out the trailer below.
