After nearly two years of existence on PS4 and PS3, music streaming app Spotify might finally be coming to Xbox One.
Circulating around Reddit is an image of Larry Hyrb, aka Major Nelson, online using the Spotify Music app for Xbox. A report from The Verge cites sources saying that Spotify is indeed coming to Xbox One, and is currently being tested internally.
This doesn’t come as too much surprise, as the Windows 10 version of Spotify has already launched in the Windows Store. This is not a universal application for Xbox One and Windows 10, but it wouldn’t be unlikely to see compatibility between the two soon.
Xbox has yet to make any official comments on the application, or to announce an official launch date. We do know dashboard updates are coming up soon, so the announcement may not be far off.
