PayPal announced today that the Steam Summer Sale is officially starting on June 23. This comes from the PayPal U.K. Twitter, and it’s unclear if the tweet was accidental or not.
This date coincides with the purported dates leaked by a Reddit user last month. Redditor MrFreemanBBQ, who has accurately revealed Steam sale dates in the past, shared a Steam screenshot on Reddit that states the Summer Sale will be held from June 23 at 9:45 a.m. PST until July 4 at 10 a.m. PST.
No matter how excited E3 has you, think twice before you buy a game on Steam right now. There’s a decent chance it will be discounted next week.
