Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 to Be Remastered for PS4, Xbox One, and PC

Tony Hawk’s definitive street-shredding series will be getting the remaster treatment. Tuesday morning, Activision announced that Pro Skater 1 and 2 would be receiving a collection later this year featuring both the games with some additional content.

Other than lovingly updated graphical fidelity, the games will feature all the same maps, skaters, and almost every song from their respective soundtracks. Both will have added challenges as well as expanded create-a-park modes, now featuring online functionality for sharing your custom creations. The game will also feature online and local multiplayer modes.

The remaster comes courtesy of Skylanders developer Vicarious Visions, also known for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy remaster bundle. The beloved duology already received a remaster once back in 2012 during for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Titled Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD, it received a notably mixed reception due to its lack of create-a-park mode and split-screen local multiplayer. Given Vicarious’ success with the Crash remaster, they’ll get it right this time around.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 is set to release on September 4 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Mac.
