New on Amazon Prime Video: All the Movies and TV Coming in March

March will be here in exactly a week, meaning we’re only seven days away from the start of a new batch of streaming content coming to Amazon Prime.

For the kids, the fourth season of Annedroids, a show about children banding together to solve problems with science, will premiere early in the month. The young ones might also enjoy An American Girl Story – Ivy & Julie 1976: A Happy Balance, which features Ivy Ling, a “10-year-old Chinese-American girl who struggles with finding a balance between her two cultural identities: Chinese and American,” and starts closer to the end of the month.

Amazon also has a range of new and original dramatic offerings in March, starting with The Dressmaker, starring Kate Winslet as Tilly Dunnage in the film adaptation of Rosalie Ham’s debut 2000 novel. Subscribers will also get the second and final season of Hand of God, starring Ron Perlman as a formerly corrupt judge fighting to restore his sanity. A week later is the premiere of German drama series You Are Wanted which centers around a hotel manager whose life is turned upside down “after his personal data is hacked and he ends up accused by the police of being a member of a terrorist organization.” March 23 sees the addition of Jim Jarmusch’s The Stooges documentary Gimme Danger, which chronicles the band’s long and tumultuous career.

Along with Amazon’s new original content comes March’s licensed shows and movies, this month in the form of Orphan Black’s fourth season, the Oscar-winning Chicago and horror films like Hannibal and Vampire in Brooklyn. Available to purchase are Peter Berg’s Patriot’s Day and FX’s The Americans, while Cartoon Network offers and both third seasons of We Bare Bears and the reboot of The Powerpuff Girls for users to buy.

Via Amazon Channels, the site offers new HBO content like Crashing and Last Week Tonight (you can read about the rest of HBO’s new March offerings here), as well as imported shows from the Anime Strike channel like Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga and Scum’s Wish.
