New on Amazon Prime Video: All the Movies and TV Coming in November

November is right around the corner, and there are more entertainment options competing for your attention than ever, meaning savvy Amazon Prime Video subscribers best look ahead to map out what they’re watching in the month to come. Our breakdown of Amazon’s November additions is below for your convenient reference.

The vast majority of Prime Video’s most exciting incoming titles are of the feature film variety, including an Amazon original with legitimate Oscar buzz: The Report, a political thriller based on actual events from writer-director Scott Z. Burns. Coming to theaters Nov. 15 and Prime Video Nov. 29, the film stars Adam Driver as idealistic staffer Daniel J. Jones, who is tasked by his boss, Senator Dianne Feinstein (Annette Bening), with leading an investigation into the CIA’s Detention and Interrogation Program, which was created in the aftermath of 9/11. His relentless pursuit of the truth leads to explosive findings that uncover the lengths to which the nation’s top intelligence agency went to destroy evidence, subvert the law and hide a brutal secret from the American public. Other film additions of note include: Joanna Hogg’s 2019 standout and Sundance award winner The Souvenir (Nov. 14); Michael B. Jordan-starring Rocky offshoot sequel Creed II (Nov. 15); the John Travolta-led directorial debut of one Fred Durst (and, by all accounts, one of 2019’s worst movies), The Fanatic (Nov. 20); A24 teen crime-drama Low Tide (Nov. 30); and Jillian Bell-starring self-improvement dramedy Brittany Runs a Marathon (Nov. 22), among others. And a flurry of older titles hits Amazon on Nov. 1, including Training Day, Chinatown, Fatal Attraction, The Ring, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, The Firm, Flashdance and a whole bunch of Bond movies.

Amazon’s TV slate for November includes both beginnings and endings, with a handful of Prime Video originals throttling up their runs as another comes to a close. First up is the second season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan (Nov. 1), starring John Krasinski as the titular CIA analyst-turned-officer. The sophomore thriller series finds Ryan hot on the trail of a potentially suspicious shipment of illegal arms in the Venezuelan jungle; the investigation threatens to uncover a far-reaching conspiracy, leading Ryan and his fellow operatives on a mission with global implications. (Also, kids special L.O.L. Surprise: Winter Disco Movie (Nov. 1) lands that same day, in case you’re looking for some counter-programming for your wee ones.) Next up in November is the fourth and final season of an acclaimed Amazon original: The Man in the High Castle (Nov. 15), adapted from the Philip K. Dick novel of the same name. The sci-fi/drama series, set in an alternate history where the Allies lost World War II, concludes its run with a climactic season in which America is roiled by rebellion on both coasts as Juliana and Wyatt join forces with an emerging Black insurgency led by Bell Mallory, Takeshi Kido is forced to reckon with the demons of his past, and John and Helen Smith’s lives are forever changed after Smith steps through the Die Nebenwelt portal and travels the path not taken. Those already looking ahead to December can enjoy Costume Quest: Christmas Special (Nov. 22), a special holiday installment of the kid-friendly adventure videogame adaptation. And on a yet-to-be-announced November date debuts Season One of new Amazon original The Feed—based on the book of the same name, it’s the story of Lawrence Hatfield, the man behind an an omnipresent technology called The Feed that enables people to share information, emotions and memories instantly via brain implant. Naturally, things go wrong, as Feed users become murderous, and the Hatfield family is driven apart by the struggle to control the monster they have unleashed.

Other miscellaneous additions include a few new installments of Thursday Night Football for you NFL fans, a variety of Showtime, Starz and HBO shows available via Prime Video Channels, and the PGA Tour Live’s RSM Classic.
