La La Land in Concert Set to Tour the World

A week and a day after winning and then not winning the Academy Award for Best Picture, it’s been announced that La La Land will hit the road this year with a 100-piece symphony orchestra and jazz ensemble led by Oscar winner Justin Hurwitz.

The music will be set against pieces from the Damien Chazelle film, and the show as a whole will debut on May 26-27 at the Hollywood Bowl (complete with fireworks). According to Deadline, the tour will also stop in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Nashville, Portland, San Antonio, San Diego, Seattle and Washington, D.C. before heading abroad to play in Canada, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 3 p.m. EST through Ticketmaster, though all of the venues have not yet been announced.
