If you’ve already come to terms with and accepted how your 2015 went and the direction your career is going, well Forbes has just the thing to make you rethink all of that.
The magazine published its annual “30 Under 30” list yesterday, full of people who haven’t yet hit their third decade who all had amazing years in 2015, and you should be paying attention to in 2016. Both the Music and the Hollywood & Entertainment lists look strong this year.
The music list ranges from Leon Bridges, 26, to Selena Gomez, 23. Grimes, 27, and Halsey, 21, are featured as well as Disney alums Demi Lovato, 23, and Nick Jonas, 23. It also include two of last year’s biggest breakouts: The Weeknd, 25, and Fetty Wap, 24.
Surprising no one, both Daisy Ridley and John Boyega, both 23, of Star Wars: The Force Awakens made the Hollywood & Entertainment list. YouTuber Lilly Singh, 27, also made the cut as did actress Zendaya, 19. Jason Mitchell, 28, who played Easy E in Straight Outta Compton, one of the summer’s biggest movies, is listed, as is Shameik Moore of Sundance’s breakout film Dope. Also featured are three of 2015’s biggest breakout leading ladies: Alicia Vikander, 27, Saoirse Ronan, 21, and Brie Larson, 26.
