Twenty years ago this month, Danny Boyle’s breakout film Trainspotting debuted in theaters.
Today, we get a glimpse of Renton, Spud, Sick Boy and Begbie in the sequel, T2: Trainspotting. Though we don’t know exactly what they’ve been up to for the past two decades, it is nice to see the original gang again. Respectively, Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle will be reprising their roles.
A sequel has long been in speculation, but Boyle confirmed his concrete intentions last September.
T2: Trainspotting will hit U.S. theaters on Feb. 3, 2017. Watch the first teaser trailer above.
