Amen Dunes Announces Deluxe Digital Version of Freedom, Expanded 2019 Tour Dates
The deluxe version of Freedom collects four live versions of songs recorded during the band's tour

Amen Dunes, aka Damon McMahon, is still riding high off the wave of critical and commercial love received by his album Freedom, which dropped this spring through Sacred Bones. The band announced Wednesday that they will be adding three more weeks of U.S. headlining shows to kick off 2019. To get fans hyped, the band will also be releasing a deluxe version of Freedom on Nov. 30, featuring four new live versions of songs from the album, all of which were recorded at various shows throughout Amen Dunes’ European tour.
“Growing up whenever I got into a record I always wanted to hear what else could’ve happened but didn’t, so I would look for alternative takes and mixes and live versions, and I like doing the same for my own music,” McMahon said in a statement. “These tracks are for all the people who couldn’t see us live or liked the record and wanted more.”
