American Football Share Pensive Video for “Home Is Where the Haunt Is,” Add Tour Dates

Indie-emo heroes American Football have shared the pensive video for their song, “Home Is Where the Haunt Is.” The song is from the band’s self-titled comeback album, released last year.

Director Erin Elders explains that the visual “follows three sets of characters whose youthful passions have dulled over time, becoming just a shade of a person.” Elders was moved by how the track “explores our complex relationships with the past, the ways in which our younger selves evolve along with us, becoming ingrained in who we are. My hope is to explore both the heartbreak and beauty of watching the reality of our dreams unfolding.”

Watch the video for “Home Is Where the Haunt Is” above. This is the second song from their comeback album that American Football has released a video for, the first being “My Instincts Are the Enemy.” Read our review of the band’s latest record here.
