Aphex Twin Will Perform in the U.S. for the First Time in Eight Years

Music News Aphex Twin

It’s been eight years since Aphex Twin has performed in the United States—his last appearance, pictured above, was at Coachella in 2008. He will soon return at Houston’s Day and Night Festival on Dec. 17-18, Consequence of Sound has confirmed.

Aphex Twin (a.k.a. Richard D. James) took a 13-year hiatus following his 2001 album Druqks until returning in 2014 with the deep, yet accessible album SYRO. He released an EP titled Cheetah earlier this year

There are no other Aphex Twin shows announced yet, and given the producer’s elusive nature, it’s difficult to say whether any will be.

Aphex Twin tweeted a teaser for the Day and Night Festival yesterday—find that below.
