On Wednesday night, Arcade Fire shared the stage with The Pretenders lead singer Chrissie Hynde during a London stop on their ongoing tour. Hynde joined Arcade Fire on stage at London’s Wembley Arena to play a rendition of a classic Pretenders song “Don’t Get Me Wrong,” off their 1986 album Get Close. Hynde then returned once more during the band’s encore to perform Arcade Fire’s closer, “Wake Up,” a performance that filled the stage with musicians, including the show’s openers, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and a guest appearance by The National’s Bryce Dessner (according to NME).

Arcade Fire shared on Twitter Thursday morning a video of Hynde and frontman Win Butler, preparing for the show.

The band now continues their ongoing tour in support of their latest album, Everything Now, with multiple shows taking them across Europe and U.S. dates scheduled to start in July. Revisit their full tour slate right here.
