This Saturday (Jan. 19), Arctic Monkeys make their Austin City Limits TV debut on PBS. Until then, you can tide yourselves over with a newly released video of the band playing “The Ultracheese,” off their divisive sixth album Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino.
It’s an exciting time for the English rockers, as they are up for two Grammy Awards this year—one for Best Rock Performance for “Four Out of Five,” and another for Best Alternative Album for their latest record.
Frontman Alex Turner swaggers across the stage in this clip, dressed like Fred from Scooby Doo’s slightly edgier older brother. From their retro outfits to the specially chosen vintage cameras, the band’s set continually tips its hat to bygone eras of music television.
