To celebrate the launch of its new video platform, The Paste Cloud, Paste is giving away $10,000 to the best music video uploaded to the site between now and Dec. 10. Ten finalists will be selected from among all videos—five by Paste’s panel of judges and five that get the most views + shares during the contest. All finalists will receive a year’s subscription to Daytrotter and $100 gift card to Wolfgang’s Vault. One grand prize winner will be selected based on originality, quality of the video and quality of the music and receive $10,000.
In addition, $1,000 will be awarded to the best live concert video uploaded to the Paste Cloud as selected by Paste’s panel of judges, made up of editorial staff and guest experts. And $1,000 will be awarded to the Paste Cloud contributor who uploads the most videos in any category between now and Dec. 31.
In addition, all Paste Cloud contributors can earn money for their content—up to 3x what they’d earn on YouTube.
