Darlene Love may be striking out solo, but for her video for the single “Forbidden Nights” off her upcoming album Introducing Darlene Love, she brings out all the celebrity star power one can muster in a single music video.

Singing and driving down the road, Darlene gradually passes by star after star in the video for her new single. Elvis Costello, the song’s writer, shows up, as well as Bill Murray, Joan Jett, Bruce Springsteen, David Letterman, Steven Van Zandt and Paul Shaffer. The star-studded road trip ends in a big beach concert, dancing on the beach and a quick shot of a bearded Letterman.

Love’s new album Introducing Darlene Love doesn’t release until Sept. 18, but you can still attend one of her celebratory concerts for the album’s launch. Love will be performing at the Paramount Theater in Asbury Park on Sept. 12, and again on Sept. 18 at Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles. She’ll also be kicking off her annual Christmas tour, with dates from November through February.
