Bird Dog – “Rubble to Rubble”

Bird Dog recorded their debut EP, Misty Shrub (due out Jan. 22), in Malibu, California’s Latigo Canyon. But while you may question what an L.A. band knows about hunting retrievers, the group’s five members all hail from Texas and Oklahoma and moved west separately before forming the band. It’s this South-Central Americana-meets-Laurel Canyon vibe that first grabs your attention listening to these songs. They stopped by the Paste Studio in New York last week, while in town for CMJ.
