Bob Seger Announces Dates For What Could Be His Last Tour

After teasing the news on social media, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band have announced initial dates for the Runaway Train Tour.

The wording in the video has led to speculation that this may be the classic rock heavyweight’s last tour of his career. The tour begins in late August in Toledo, Ohio, and runs through the end of October in Phoenix, Ariz., with additional dates to be announced, according to Rolling Stone. The one show that has already gone on sale in Seger’s hometown of Detroit at DTE Energy Music Theatre sold out in just nine minutes. Select dates will include Nancy Wilson of Heart as a special guest.
