Bon Iver Announces “2 A Million” Gender Equity Campaign

Music News Bon Iver

If Donald Trump has emboldened American misogyny, at least he’s also recently inspired many to take more aggressive action against gender-based issues.

The latest example: Bon Iver have just announced a “2 A Million” campaign to “raise support, awareness, and person-to-person connections in an effort to end gender inequality, domestic violence, and sexual abuse.”

On their upcoming world tour (beginning tomorrow in Oakland), the band will partner with local nonprofits in each city to collect donations and spread awareness.

It remains to be seen whether this pertains to the European cities, as well; the tour has dates in only two U.S. states, California and New York.

To support their efforts, you can donate now (text 2AM to 56512) or seek out the 2 A Million banner near the merchandise table at upcoming Bon Iver tour stops.
