Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band experienced an eighth avenue freeze out when Winter Storm Jonas forced the band to cancel its Madison Square Garden gig. The Boss, who as far as we know, can’t control the weather, compensated fans anyway by giving away a free download of a Chicago concert.
The MSG concert, which was slated for Sunday, will now be postponed to March 28 and original tickets will be honored on the new night. The River Tour is also extended to include 14 new US dates and a slot headlining the first night of Rock in Rio Lisboa in Portugal.
