Camper Van Beethoven is regarded as one of the most influential bands of the alternative/modern/indie rock genre. They began in 1983 in Redlands, California and have been steered by David Lowery on vocals and lead guitar for nearly three decades. Songs like “Take the Skinheads Bowling” and “Pictures of Matchstick Men” were critically acclaimed chart toppers. The band’s history is full of artful interpretations, and multi-talented, multi-skilled members who bring their own unique sensibilities to the music. When they stopped by Wolfgang’s Vault in December 2010, Lowery was nursing a badly injured left hand. But this didn’t stop them from performing 3 great Camper rarities exclusively for Wolfgang’s Vault fans. Check it out.
