Chance the Rapper Debuts “Same Drugs” Video via Facebook Live

Chance the Rapper’s “Same Drugs” is one of the standout cuts from his exultant third LP, Coloring Book, and today the piano-driven number received the video treatment.

Debuting on Facebook Live, the clip for “Same Drugs” largely features Chancelor sitting at a white Yamaha piano and semi-dueting with a Muppet. The string-work for the song is slightly different than what’s heard on the album, and the whole thing is shot with a hazy 1980s filter that lends an air of wistful nostalgia. Just wide-eyed kids being kids.
