KAMI Drops New Single “Reboot,” Featuring Chance The Rapper, Joey Purp

Chicago rapper KAMI released a new single called “Reboot” on Friday. The track is a Chicago production through and through, featuring guest verses from fellow Chicago wordsmiths Chance the Rapper and Joey Purp, and production from Smoko Ono. “Reboot” is the lead single from KAMI’s forthcoming album, Very Slight, out Sept. 14.

Chance’s verse on “Reboot” closes out a busy summer for the rapper. He appeared on DJ Khaled’s “No Brainer” and Chicago rapper Reesenyem’s “What’s the Hook?” He also dropped four solo tracks in July. He is reportedly working on a seven-track album with Kanye West, as well. Joey Purp, who records with KAMI as Leather Corduroys, recently announced his own forthcoming album, QUARTERTHING.
